“I want everyone who walks through the door to feel seen and supported in the time that we spent together.”

Michelle is a committed and compassionate somatic therapist, facilitator and registered counsellor. She is informed by her own lived experiences of chronic fatigue and burnout. Her journey has led her to explore a range of therapeutic interventions to help herself and ultimately others tap into their body's innate healing intelligence.

Michelle began her career in the wellness industry as a physical therapist 20 years ago and has come to observe the symbiotic relationship between mind and body. Her expertise lies in understanding one’s adaptive response to stress and the impact this has on one’s mind, body, and nervous system, guiding her clients towards resilience and adaptability.

As a lifelong learner, she continually updates her knowledge with special interest in attachment theory, Polyvagal theory, the power of the body/mind connection via the Vagus nerve and somatic approaches such as Inner Relationship Focusing, which promotes change via paying inward attention to the body’s felt sense.

Michelle's diverse career spans corporate offices, wellness clinics, the nonprofit sector, and medical establishments, supporting clients of all ages and health conditions. Inspired by nature, she accompanies clients to lean into finding harmony with their own natural rhythm, and how this can be the birthplace of change.
