Hello and welcome

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Michelle. I’ve been working with clients therapeutically for 20 years.. I started my career in health and wellbeing as a physical therapist, and in more recent years have been working as a somatic therapist and counsellor, supporting people to slow down and listen to their body to assist with nervous system regulation and health

I’ve been providing wellbeing services to the OES team since 2016 and I look forward to facilitating the opportunity for you to have some well deserved care and support.

Services are available both in person at the OES office, Level 1, Wellness Room 1.25 (near the kitchen), EVERY THURSDAY and BY APPOINTMENT ONLINE, at a mutually suitable time to cater for your needs and time zone.

Prices for services are as follows:

  • Therapeutic touch services - Massage and Reiki $53

  • Vagus nerve regulation single session $75

  • Vagus nerve regulation six (6) session program $420

All services are 30 minutes in duration with contactless payment available on the day of your appointment. If you are receiving an invoice, please check your spam folder.

** Please note that my last day in the office will be Thursday 19th December 2024, and I will be back in the office on Thursday 23rd January 2025 **

Appointments can be made for online support or in person sessions at Esolab 3/177-181 Moray st, South Melbourne. I also offer Manual Lymphatic Drainage sessions at this location.

Therapeutic Massage - An Mo Tui Na

THERAPEUTIC and REMEDIAL in nature, this style of massage finds its ROOTS from the practice of TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE. Tui Na is a combination of FLOWING STROKES and the application of VARYING PRESSURE to different ACUPUNCTURE POINTS. The treatment approach to RESTORE FLOW of the body’s VITAL ENERGY (QI). This type of massage is a TAILORED EXPERIENCE to support how you present at the time of your treatment.

Reiki

Reiki is a GENTLE, yet effective ENERGY THERAPY that offers the opportunity to spend some TIME to RECONNECT with yourself in a PEACEFUL and NURTURING environment. Reiki involves laying of the hands on specific areas of your body, and can be done when you are fully clothed. It is difficult to explain how one can expect to feel during a session, as it is an EXPERIENTIAL PROCESS. I liken it to being immersed in one’s FAVOURITE NATURAL SETTING.

Reiki may assist in

  • Calming your mind, body, spirit and nervous system, by fostering a deep sense of relaxation

  • Taking the edge off the stress you may be experiencing

  • Allowing some down time, which may be helpful to find balance in the more demanding times of life

  • You may wish to think of Reiki as a massage for your nervous system
